Gerard J. Crowe is a seasoned litigator with over 28 years handling insurance defense matters, including New York Labor Law, complex, high-exposure transportation claims, commercial auto, general liability, municipal liability, premises liability and professional liability.
Throughout his career, he has successfully defended contractors, municipalities, public benefit corporations, attorneys, property management companies, retail businesses, private landowners and individuals from inception to trial. Representative clients include the New York City Transit Authority, the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY), Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, RailWorks, Bob’s Discount Furniture, Hallen Construction, and New York Paving.
Gerry prides himself on his exemplary work product, and adheres to a strict “client comes first” mindset. He has developed effective reporting systems that help claims professionals resolve their cases expeditiously and often under budget. He actively seeks to develop close working relationships with his clients, enabling him to intimately understand their operations, needs and goals, which contributes to his ability to consistently secure optimal results for his clients.
In addition to his active litigation practice, Gerry has experience in estate planning and administration, including preparing wills, trusts and administering decedent estates.
