Deborah is a veteran litigator with more than two decades of experience handling general liability matters, focused on complex, high-exposure transportation and construction accidents, personal injury and premises liability cases. She also represents clients in commercial contracts, including real estate agreements, and litigation when disputes arise.
Her clients have included the City of New York, the New York City Board of Education, and large transportation companies. She also represents retail businesses, commercial developers, and private landowners. A licensed real estate broker, Deborah is skilled at managing real estate development projects, and she is well versed in condominium and cooperative contracts and negotiations – as well as leasing transactions and land use matters.
Deborah’s unyielding commitment to in-depth research often leads to wins for her clients through motion practice or alternative dispute resolution. She prides herself on uncovering critical facts that often go unnoticed by others. With more than 20 years of practice, Deborah has developed effective reporting systems that help claims professionals resolve their cases expeditiously.
Deborah began her career at the Legal Aid Society of Nassau County, handling more than 300 cases, before transitioning to commercial litigation. She also had an active solo practice focused on real estate, criminal defense, and corporate litigation.
