White Plains, NY (August 19, 2021) – White plains-based litigation firm Fullerton Beck has announced that attorney Brandon Berkowski has been named for inclusion in the 2022 edition of Best Lawyers in America Ones to Watch in the Medical Malpractice category. This is the second consecutive year he has been named to this prestigious list of attorneys.
Best Lawyers Ones to Watch recognizes attorneys, who typically have been in practice for five to nine years, for outstanding professional excellence in private practice.
Berkowski is an experienced litigator, practicing in the areas of general liability, medical malpractice, nursing home and long-term care, New York Child Victims Act litigation, and appeals. He defends complex claims throughout all phases of pre-trial litigation and has had great success winning dismissals through summary judgment and negotiating favorable resolutions in difficult cases.
Prior to joining Fullerton Beck LLP, Berkowski was a senior associate in medical malpractice defense at a private firm. He also litigated employment discrimination and civil rights actions in federal court.
While attending Fordham University School of Law, Berkowski worked in the Office of the General Counsel for the New York City Council on employment law and municipal governance issues. He was an associate editor of the Fordham Law Review and received the Archibald R. Murray Public Service Award for his work with the City Council.
Berkowski earned his Juris Doctorate from Fordham University School of Law (2011), a Master of Fine Arts from Brooklyn College (2002), and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Detroit Mercy (1998).
