A recent graduate from St. John’s Law University School of Law, Matthew joined Fullerton Beck with practical legal skills, having worked as a paralegal for Am Law 100 Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, LLP prior to law school.

During law school, Matthew held clerkships and internships with law firms in the tri-state area to further develop his legal research and writing skills and to gain exposure to different areas of the law. In 2022, Matthew worked as a law clerk for a litigation firm where he drafted and reviewed promissory notes, consulting agreements, opinion letters, pleadings, subpoenas, motions, internal memoranda and published articles. He also conducted client intakes and case evaluation meetings.

Matthew served as Vice President of the St. John’s Immigration Law Society and Co-director of Events of the school’s International Law Students Association. In 2023, Matthew presented his scholarly note, “No Way Home: The Effects Climate Change Has on the International Refugee Crisis and the Plight of Displaced Migrants,” as part of the Federal Bar Association Eastern District of New York’s chapter’s Student Scholars Program.
