Firm also offers summer mentoring opportunities to interns.
Fullerton Beck welcomed three summer associates— Edward Mendoza, Naomi Russell, and Tateyauna E. Wilson— for its 10-week program designed to provide hands-on experience in the firm’s general liability, New York Labor Law/construction and appellate/complex motion practices.
During the summer, the associates will assist with drafting motions, observing depositions, court appearances, and mediations, conducting legal research, and handling other substantive projects that will help them develop their skills and explore different areas of law. They will also take part in work-related and social events, including a trip to local courthouses and attending firmwide social outings.
“Mentorship is one of the firm’s priorities,” said Katrine Beck, co-founder. “We’re always excited to welcome our talented summer associates and give them the chance to explore parts of a real-world litigation practice that law school doesn’t necessarily cover.”
In addition to our law school mentees, the firm also hired two summer interns: Justin Lopez, a recent graduate of White Plains High School who will be attending the University of Pennsylvania in the fall, and Jeba Karim, a rising senior at SUNY Binghamton, who is spending her second summer interning at Fullerton Beck.
