Jeffrey is a career insurance defense attorney defending insurers and their insureds for nearly 30 years. He has worked both in-house with a national insurer and as outside counsel with law firms in Connecticut and New York. Jeff is experienced in handling all aspects of a case from inception through resolution. He has successfully defended high-exposure matters against the region’s most aggressive personal injury attorneys.
Jeff’s legal practice focuses on general liability and medical malpractice cases in state and federal courts. He is skilled in navigating the unique Connecticut legal system and is equally knowledgeable about the rules associated with New York legal practice.
As an accomplished trial attorney, Jeff has tried 23 cases and taken numerous defense verdicts where liability was conceded. He attributes his success to creating effective litigation strategies that resolve matters quickly and favorably and knowing when to pivot and settle cases. Jeff also credits his ability to communicate effectively with clients, the court, and jurors and his keen understanding of which experts should be hired to advance his clients’ cases.
